Hotel Kaiserin Augusta - Weimar (Thuringia)

The breakfast was good, with a wonderful variety of fresh breads, cheeses, and meats to fuel my day.

It was in a nice location not far from Weimar itself. There was a tapas restaurant nearby.

We had single room to ourselves with good bathrooms, the Internet, for example. This hotel was located in a central area close enough to public areas, opposite the railway station, and a big underground shopping mall and supermarkets.

The room was spacious and comfortable, but the shallow shower tray drained slowly, making it inconvenient.

The staff was amazingly helpful and accommodating. Excellent English spoken! The room was very clean and a much larger amount of space than average. Location was fairly good. Breakfast was included in the room price, but Bookings.com's site did not reflect this, so, it was just a happy surprise. Call or email the hotel to confirm this for the dates you want to stay, as it may not be standard. Good value!

The beds were a bit hard. Think mattresses for a baby crib. Bathroom was very small, but good enough for a couple of days. We're still happy we stayed here, and would probably stay again.

Delightful hotel convenient for trains

The location of the Kaiserin Augusta is unbeatable, just across from the train station, with easy access to public transport. The room I stayed in was spacious with a comfortable seating area. Breakfast exceeded my expectations, with a great selection of fresh breads, cheeses, and meats. The staff were very helpful when I had questions about local attractions and even offered recommendations. I encountered some issues with the bathroom as the shower tray drained slowly with some inconvenience during my shower. Although the room was pleasant, it lacked tea and coffee facilities, which would have was good. I appreciated the hotel's charming decor but found the bathroom towels to be rather thin and not up to the quality of the rest of the amenities.

Nice location within walking distance of the old town. Clean room. Friendly staff. Good breakfast - full pot of coffee for each table. Quiet.

There was nothing we did not like. It was perfect for our weekend get-away.

It has very convenient location (next to the main train station) yet it's very quiet and only 10 min walk from the old town. Rooms are comfortable and the restaurant offers good breakfast.

This was a great hotel, close to the train station, and with a very nice restaurant. I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful and very clean and well appointed room and hotel. Staff were very good.

This hotel was perfectly suited to our family, especially with our special needs son's support dog in tow. We enjoyed walking to the famous onion festival, just a quick jaunt away, soaking in the local vibe along the way.

My wife says that the room could have been a bit bigger for all our gear.

Our room was large and adequately furnished. It's location on the interior court of the hotel meant it was extremely quiet. The train station is opposite the hotel. The breakfast was very generous with a good assortment and variety in its offerings.

The decor of our room was a bit dated. The hotel could offer a few more toiletries than just all-purpose liquid hand soap/body wash/shampoo combination.
